Sharing & Networking

There is a great deal of good practice happening in wardens schemes nationally and regionally. At the resource centre we like to encourage sharing of successful projects and methods of working.

Staff exchanges between schemes help wardens learn best practice, establish links between colleagues throughout the country and increase motivation, enthusiasm and knowledge for those studying on our courses.

This type of mentoring can also be provided for warden managers. Contact us for more info.

It’s Good To Talk

As well as this sharing of ideas resource centre staff organise and attend regional practitioner networking events. A network of neighbourhood development representatives meet regularly to:

  • Provide advice and support to new and existing schemes across the South East
  • Engage in joint problem solving about wardens’ issues
  • Support South East warden schemes in their work
  • Share best practice and innovation
  • Seek to influence environmental, community cohesion and community safety agenda
  • Feed information into the national wardens network

All schemes in the area are encouraged to take part.
